Dante Thomas is a two way star with a pair of scholarship offers. He's a cornerback and wide receiver from Orlando (Fla.) Wekiva.
is a good looking prospect on both sides of the ball at wide receiver and cornerback. On Friday night of the Elite 11 regional quarterback camp in Orlando, he was catching passes and looking great. The following day he was working out with the defensive backs and was one of the top cornerbacks in attendance at the Orlando NFTC.
"I can cover as a cornerback," Thomas said. "And when it comes to offense I can catch the football and make plays. I have good hands and speed."
Does Thomas have a favorite side of the ball to play on?
"It doesn't matter to me," Thomas said. "I just want to play football."
Thomas, 5-foot-10, 170-pounds, does have a pair of scholarship offers from Central Florida and Louisville.
"And I am getting interest from teams like Mississippi State, Auburn, Florida State and Missouri," Thomas said.
This is an underrated player from the Sunshine State with terrific ball skills and versatility.
