Tavin Richardson Profile

Is he a wide receiver or is he a tight end? That's the question some analysts are scratching their heads over when it comes to 2015 Byrnes prospect Tavin Richardson. Regardless of where he lines up at he's a playmaker for the Rebels and he's pulled in double digit scholarship offers. He took a visit to an ACC school last weekend and he talked about that trip with SCPrepNation.com.

"My trip to North Carolina went really good, I had a awesome time! I'd say the best part of the visit was getting to see their practice."

So what did the Tar Heel coaches have to say to Richardson while he was there in Chapel Hill?

"They said I was a perfect fit for their offense and I how I can be another or better playmaker than Eric Ebron."

Richardson plays at wide receiver for Byrnes and he talked about what the Tar Heels said they envision him as in their offense.

"They said they like me as a hybrid wide receiver and tight end."

This past weekend also saw the Tar Heels land a verbal commitment from Chris Clark so we asked Richardson if that would have any bearing on him if the Tar Heels were to offer him?

"No, it's a great school like a lot of them so no."

There are plenty of other stops to be made for Richardson in the coming weeks he said. This coming weekend he'll participate in the NFTC and Rivals Camps in Charlotte but after that he's got a busy visit schedule ahead of him.

"I'm trying to visit Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Kentucky, and Louisville."

Right now Richardson says feels like Michigan State may be the next school to extend an offer his way.
