DeVon Quincy took a trip to Ohio last weekend for their Junior Day this past weekend. The Lafayette High (KY.) prospect talked with Scout.com about his visit.

DeVon Quincy had a good time checking out the Ohio Bobcats. The junior linebacker was impressed with Frank Solich's program.

"Ohio was pretty nice. I loved the campus and how everything is within walking distance," Quincy said. "The indoor field house was nice, but not yet completed. I loved the uniforms and the choice of 200 majors to choose from," he said.

Quincy got good vibes from the coaching staff and felt positively about their interactions.

"I thought of the coaches as highly motivated. They want to make you the best student athlete possible. I admire the head coach, Coach Solich. He gave a speech that was very straight forward of what he expects from the players and the staff."

And what does Solich expect from Ohio Bobcat football players?

"He lets you know that they don't want you to just be an athlete, but also become a man. He also discussed all the many resources the campus has. That made me feel motivated and had me thinking about Ohio," he finished.

Quincy plans to visit Tennessee this weekend.
