5-foot-9, 165-pound junior C.J. Amill has picked up offers from Akron and Kentucky. This week, the running back is getting on the road to check out a Big Ten school.
"My recruitment is going well," he said. "I'm going to Northwestern on Friday."
Amill says that he's excited to check out the Wildcats program.
"I'm looking forward to seeing the facilities, watching practice, sitting in meetings and meeting the coaching staff," said Amill.
The running back says he's been hearing from several other schools around the Midwest.
"I've been talking to Cincinnati, Miami (Ohio), Indiana, Bowling Green, Kent State, and Purdue," he said.
The running back says that the schools are keeping an eye on him.
"They're telling me to keep in touch and that they're interested and want me to come down and visit the campuses," he said.
In the meantime, Amill is focusing on improving his overall game.
"I'm just working on getting stronger, faster, improving my cuts and moves. I wouldn't mind getting taller too," he joked.
