"It went well," Jennings said. "The coaches there are all great coaches. The players interact with you. They have a lot of great accessories along with the school. They have a great academic hall. The stadium was great. The locker room was great. It was a fun trip."
With Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, Mississippi State and Ohio State still on his list as he gets ready to make a final choice, Jennings said he's focused solely on being a quarterback and that's all he's concerned with at the moment.
"Every offer I have wants me as a quarterback," Jennings said. "It's just seeing when I get there if I can earn the job. It's not a matter what they want me as, it's a matter of when I get there I have to work to seize the position. I'm 100 percent a quarterback, nothing else. I'm going to prove that to anyone who doesn't believe I can do it."
Jennings is a long, athletic player that could easily translate to another position if it doesn't work out at quarterback.
With the skill set that would fit in well with Auburn's offense, Jennings said it was great to get to see Nick Marshall, Jeremy Johnson and the Tigers scrimmage to get an idea of how he would fit in the system. Now that he's done that Jennings said he feels like it's a perfect fit for his skill set.
"The offense would be a great fit for me and the attributes I have," Jennings said. "I run the zone-read very well. Auburn is a winning program and any winning program you can't keep off your list."
Having already visited every school on his list with the exception of Alabama, Jennings is just over a week away from making his selection. With Auburn, Tennessee and Alabama thought to be the three favorites he said it's just time to buckle down and made his decision.
"I'm just going to sit down with my family and friends and just with myself," Jennings said. "It's just going to be about where I think I can go and succeed the next four years and possibly take my talents to an even farther level. That's really about it."
