Interest building for Rose

Ocie Rose is an up-and-coming recruit out of National Champion Miami (Fla.) Booker T. Washington High School. The 2015 corner continues to impress in spring camps and 7on7s and is hoping for some offers this spring.

Ocie Rose was very impressive in the South Florida NFTC earlier this month and has started to generate some buzz on the recruiting scene. The 2015 corner of Booker T. Washington says his aggressive play is one of his best attributes.

"I feel like I can jam well and I can get back and cover the field if I get beat deep, and I can just get my hand on the receiver, whoever's at the line," he said.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound athlete said he's been getting interest from Florida State, Arizona, Florida Atlantic, Miami, Alabama, Houston, Florida International, and others. The offer he's most hoping for right now is FSU.

"When I went on the visit, everything just seemed right. It just seemed like a good school to be at," he said.

Rose also plans to visit the Seminoles sometime next week. He's hoping that this spring will bring several offers as coaches stop by Booker T. to evaluate him and his teammates.

"Coaches like my size, and I'm aggressive," he said.

"I'm a hard worker and I'm hard hitting."

He also plans to hit the summer camp circuit hard.
