Anas Hasic signed with Northern Arizona as a safety out of high school but instead landed at Scottsdale Community College where he played wide receiver for the Artichokes.
Hasic had a very productive two years at SCC including a sophomore year in which he caught 58 passes for 890 yards and 10 TDs. He was named 1st team all-league.
NAU again offered him as a safety but wide receiver was where his heart was and he patiently waited for his first offer at the position.
The offer came Friday night.
According to SCC offensive coordinator Tommy Ziegler, "North Carolina Central offered Anas."
Hasic prepped at Phoenix North Canyon and will have 3 years to play 2 at the next level.
Offer in for JUCO Wideout
