Rutter Picking up Interest

Neuqua Valley (Ill.) junior quarterback Broc Rutter is well into his 7-on-7 season and has started hearing from several new schools.

"Recruiting is really starting to pick up over the last couple weeks and have a lot of visits planned for some one day camps this summer. I am still working on a few more schools."

As for where Rutter will visit, there are several schools on his schedule.

"Things seem to be speeding up lately," Rutter said. "I will be attending Miami of Ohio, Northern Illinois, North Dakota State, Marshall, Northern Iowa, and South Dakota State."

With recruiting getting more interesting for Rutter, there are several things that he is excited about seeing as his camps and visits start.

"I am looking forward to just experiencing the whole recruiting process and seeing what schools start to show more interest in me," Rutter said.

Plus, Rutter will take part in the IMG 7-on-7 Championships this coming weekend in Chicago with Midwest Boom.

"With the seven on seven season I am looking forward to competing with the top players not only in our state but across the whole nation," Rutter said. "Its also cool to be competing with Division one athletes and seeing how I do versus them."
