made his third trip to Ohio State
in the past few weeks Saturday, as he took in the Buckeye spring game. The Gahanna Lincoln defensive end/linebacker is a top 2016 prospect in Ohio.
Cooper, 6-foot-3, 215-pounds, already holds offers from Illinois and Kentucky, and is coming off an excellent sophomore season. He enjoyed another visit to Ohio State.
"Everything went well and I really enjoyed myself a lot at Ohio State like I always do," Cooper stated. "I got there a little late because I had to take the ACT test today, but the coaches said they were glad I could make it."
"I'm comfortable at Ohio State and it's basically right down the street for me," he added. "Ohio State has never really said what I need to do to get an offer, but I'm only just a sophomore right now, so I understand it."
"I'm going to go back to camp this summer, and hopefully they see what they're looking for in a player," he continued. "If not, I'll just keep working hard and trying to make myself better."
With the spring evaluation period starting soon, it will be interesting to see who stops by Gahanna Lincoln to check in on Cooper.
In addition, to the schools currently showing interest, Cooper said Georgia and Florida State are the two newest schools in contact.
