Last season, Qorticha Glenn Jr. had a breakout season. Since that time, the Kernersville (N.C) East Forsyth offensive guard has seen his recruitment pick up steam. He gave Scout.com the latest.
Qorticha Glenn Jr.
has been a varsity starter since his freshman season, so it should come as no surprise that he is already generating a significant amount of interest on the recruiting trail.
"Recruiting has been going great," said the 6-foot-3, 320-pound Glenn Jr. "I've been getting a lot of mail and talked to a bunch of coaches.
"I've heard from Florida State, Clemson, N.C. State, Virginia Tech, Stanford and Cincinnati. I'd say Cincinnati and N.C. State are recruiting hardest."
Last season, Glenn visited two schools – Wake Forest and Charlotte. Now, he is focused on summer camps.
"I'm trying to go down to Florida State and I'm definitely trying to go to Georgia," Glenn Jr said.
While he is enjoying the recruiting process, Glenn Jr. is looking forward to his junior campaign.
"We have to win a ring this year," he said. "We have a lot of people working hard and a lot of returners. If we stay on the same page and hold each other accountable, we should have a chance to win a state championship."
