Plays tackle in high school, but looks like the protoypical guard prospect for college. He is strong at the point of attack and once he locks on to a defender he does a good job of keeping his feet moving and finishing the play with aggression. Holds major offers.
2). OG Josh Wariboko - Casady School
Recently decommitted from Oklahoma and is considered as one of the premiere interior offensive line prospects in the country, holding over 20 offers. A powerful offensive guard prospect, who quite simply dominates the competition on the private school level.
3). S Will Sunderland - Midwest City HS
Sunderland is one of the fast rising stars in the country. May push the top guys as the No. 1 player in the state by the time the dust settles. He is a tall, rangy safety prospect, who also plays with an aggressive style. Ohio Statewas recently added to his offer list.
4). DT Marquise Overton - Jenks HS
Overton plays for one of the premiere state powers and is already committed to play for the Sooners in college. He plays with a good motor and fires in to the backfield past offensive linemen. A punishing tackler, using his size and strength to take RBs to the ground with force.
5). WR Dahu Green - Westmoore HS
Green is not considered a sleeper anymore, because his offer list has hit double digits. He further proved his legitimacy as a prospect by being one of the top wide receiver prospects period at the Dallas NFTC, cormer prospects were lining up to try and shut him down, usually failing.
6). QB John Kolar - Norman Hs North
Kolar is another prospect pushing up this list and I know there are many in the state who believe that his game is superior to that of Alabama signee David Cornwell, who tarnsferred in to Norman North last year and was injured. Kolar took over and the rest is history. Committed to Oklahoma State.
7). TE Austin Cantrell - Roland HS
Cantrell is one of my favorite prospects in the Sooner State crop for 2015. He plays both ways and could probably end up playing either side of the ball in college. A spirited player who quite simply gets the job done. He is very strong and that shows through on tape on both sides. Committed to Arkansas.
8). CB Darreyl Patterson - Lawton HS
Patterson leads what is a pretty solid group of in-state defensive backs. He has a good break on the ball and good top end speed. He makes some very athletic plays and interceptions on tape. Will need to work on his technique and back pedal but has tools you are looking for.
9). CB Dillon Lohr - Carl Albert HS
Lohr has not yet seen his recruitment take off and there is a chance it could be extended to play out again through the junior college routee, but there is not many better in the state when you are talking pure skill. He is a tremendous athlete and most who follow OKPreps knows it.
10). WR Akylen Mayfield - Edison Preparatory HS
Rounding out the Top 10 is a player who jumped on the radar as a freshman, standing out at a national Red Bull 7v7 event Mayfield showed he had top level skills. Plays QB in high school, but could end up at receiver or sfaety in college. Very athletic for his height.
11). CB Ashton Preston - Santa Fe HS
12). RB Marquiz Simpkins - Clinton HS
13). WR Denver Johnson - Casady School
14). DT Bobby Henry - Southmoore HS
15). CB Robert Thomas - Union HS
16). LB Aaron McKinney - Midwest City HS
17). CB Markale Moses - Broken Arrow HS
18). RB Warren Wand - Edmond Memorial HS
19). OT Riley Daniel - Ringling HS
20). OG Tristan Wyatt - Shawnee HS
21). LB Caileb Booze - Edmond North HS
22). RB Davion Freeman - Del City HS
23). OG J.R. Hensley - Edmond Santa Fe HS
24). QB Dalton Wood - McAlester HS
25). QB John Jacobs - Shawnee HS
