Watts updates recruitment

Quincy Watts is one of the top playmakers in Virginia. The 2015 Virginia Beach (Va.) Landstown wide receiver spoke with Scout.com about the latest developments in his recruitment.

"I have offers from UVa, ODU, JMU, Charlotte, Duke, West Virginia, Missouri and Marshall," said Quincy Watts. "Florida, Miami, Penn State, Tennessee, Indiana and N.C. State are also recruiting me."

The 5-foot-11, 172-pound Watts is looking forward to the summer.

"Florida, Miami and Tennessee have all said they want me to come to camp, so I'm going to try to get to those," he said. "I'm going to probably get to N.C. State, too."

A few schools have gotten his attention at this point.

"I'd say West Virginia for sure," Watts said. "And N.C. State, too, but I'm still waiting on them to offer."

Some people have assumed that Watts will play college football close to home. However, that may not be the case.

"I'm not the type of guy that follows the crowd," he said. "I've got to make the best decision for me."

He is looking forward to his senior season.

"Individually, I just want to break all the records at Landstown," Watts said. "Team-wise, we just want to come together, bond and just play as hard as we can."
