Lake City (Fla.) Columbia High School class of 2016 cornerback Roger Cray has received his first two scholarship offers this spring. The 5-foot-9 and 170-pound sophomore also plans to camp at USF and FSU this summer.

Lake City (Fla.) Columbia High School cornerback Roger Cray has received his first two scholarship offers this spring. The 5-foot-9 and 170-pound sophomore now has offers from Akron and East Carolina.

"I got my first offer from Akron last week. It felt good. They came to watch me practice and see my cover skills and all that," said Cray of the Zips who apparently liked what they saw.

Cray learned of his second offer yesterday as he walked through Lake City Columbia head football coach Brian Allen's office during his lunch period.

"I just walked in and found out I have an offer from ECU. It feels good, I really dont know much about ECU, I haven't even talked or heard from them yet," said the surprised and excited underclassman.

The rising junior also plans on attending at least two camps this summer.

"I am going to go to the South Florida and I am supposed to be going to the Florida State camp this summer," explained Cray of his summer plans.
