Southern Miss Offers GA QB

With an offensive minded coach and wide open spread offense, the Southern Miss Golden Eagles are always going to be looking for a future signal caller to run the offense. They've identified another one they are interested in and offered in Georgia, and he took a few minutes to update us on his thoughts about it.

Southern Miss has identified another pro style QB that would be a nice fit for the offense of Coach Todd Monken.

Talented 6'3 QB Daniel David from Mills Creek HS in Hoschton, GA has been turning a lot of heads lately as he continues to work on his game during spring practice.

"Spring is really going great," David updated today.

"Our team is looking better than last year and I've been working on my accuracy and decision making this spring."

Southern Miss took a visit to practice and liked what they saw. So much so that they made an offer to the 3 star QB.

"They told me they really liked my film and when they watched my practice film they decided to offer," he said. "They think I would be a perfect fit in the offense they run."

"I've known about Southern Miss for a while but they weren't on my radar until I got this offer. They are now."

David also holds offers to MTSU, Navy, Mercer, Troy, Georgia State and now Southern Miss.

"To be honest I'm just looking for a good academic school and family like environment," he said. "That is most important."

"I don't have any leaders right now. I just want to take my time and take my visits."
