Elkton (Md.) Eastern Christian linebacker Dele' Harding has been in recruiting circles for a while already, so it is easy to forget he's a class of 2016 prospect.
"I'm interested in seeing a lot of schools," Harding said during the weekend PA Swag 7-on-7. "Overall, I'm looking for good academics. As far as football, just a family, and somewhere I could plan my future around. I want a place where I can work hard, and the team will work hard, and I know I'll be successful and make a difference."
Harding was offered by former USC coach Lane Kiffin's staff, but since the coaching change he has not spoken to the Trojans staff.
However, other schools are in contact with his coach, Dwayne Thomas.
"From what I know, Stanford is (interested)," Harding said. "I hear Alabama may be (interested). I may be going to a camp or a 7-on-7 down there.
"(Schools) may talk to coach DT about me, but I don't have a lot of contact with them. I may shake their hand, but I don't talk to them much."
Two other schools he knows are interested are Michigan and Tennessee, and both programs have former ECA starts on their roster.
"I talk to Freddy all the time about it," Harding said. "I come in contact with their coach not too long ago, maybe two weeks ago. We discussed some things, like maybe a 7-on-7 (at Michigan), and things like that.
"(Creamer) talks to me about how his father played there, and we actually watch film together. He constantly tells me how hard he works, how hard the team work and how they're going to be good this upcoming season."
