We know it's a broken record. The position of wide receiver was going to be recruited really hard this cycle. So it was great news when this WR let the staff know he was committing.

Justin Gamble had been thinking about it for a while. He had two offers, Texas State and Texas Tech. In the end, the 6'0" 175lb wide out from Stony Point High School just felt that the Bobcats were the better fit.

"Coach Johnson shows that he really cares. Plus, it seems like a fun place to play at, it's a great atmosphere."

The Coaching Staff has been on Gamble since his sophomore season and made him a top priority offering him very early. He brings good size, skill and has an extra gear. At the US Army All American Combine he posted an impressive 4.42 40 time.

In the end, the relationship with the staff was what sealed the deal for Justin.

"Just the fact that they made me feel welcomed, that's what I liked the most."

Gamble now joins Landon Beck (DT) as Texas State's first two commitments of the 2015 class. He is rated as a 3-Star prospect by National Recruiting Analysts.
