SS Miller Has Two Offers
Pensacola (Fla.) Escambia High School strong safety prospect Terik Miller has received two scholarship offers this May. The 6-foot-0 and 197-pound junior has also been hearing from several more FBS programs on a regular basis this spring. "My latest offer is from Southern Mississippi and Florida A&M has offered me," Miller said. The hard-hitting safety said he was surprised by the Southern Miss offer. "It was an exciting feeling. I was surprised because the coach came to practice and I thought he was here to see Gerold (Escambia quarterback Gerold Bright who has a USM offer) and after practice I had an offer," explained Miller of his newest offer. The Golden Eagles liked what they saw out of the rising senior in-person. "My size and the way I run to the ball, my leadership skills and how I listened to the coaches," answered Miller when asked what the Southern Miss coaches like about him. Miller says he is hearing from a host of schools including; Tennessee, North Carolina State, Georgia Tech, South Carolina, Louisiana-Lafayette, Troy and Georgia. He says out of the aforementioned schools who haven't offered, three of those have been in contact more than the others. "Tennessee, Louisiana-Lafayette and Troy," answered Miller when asked who he was hearing from the most. Miller plans to camp with several programs this summer including; Troy, Kentucky, South Carolina, Louisiana-Lafayette and Florida State among others.
