Texas Lineman Likes Missouri

The Tigers are on the trail of a top 2015 line prospect from the state of Texas, who tells ShowMeMizzou.com where the Tigers stand among his list of many offers he has acquired in the early going of his recruitment.

Recently, ShowMeMizzou.com spoke with Missouri offer, 2015 DT prospect Kingsley Keke 6’4” 285 Richmond (TX) George Ranch, who talked about his interest in Missouri, and he updated us on the current status of his recruitment.

“I like the Missouri offer,” said Keke, who learned of his Missouri offer from Missouri Defensive Line Coach Craig Kuligowski nearly a month ago. “Coach Kool told me that he likes my film, and my size and everything, and that Missouri wants me to play the three technique. And, he talked to me about some of the players he’s had at Missouri.”

Keke currently holds offers from Baylor, Florida, Houston, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana Tech, Miami, Mississippi State, North Texas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Oregon State, TCU, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, and Tulsa, among others, in addition to Missouri.

Keke also plays basketball for George Ranch, and he reported a personal best of 5.1 second in the 40-yard dash, to go along with a 25” vertical jump, and a maximum in the bench press of 270 pounds. Keke has already visited Baylor, Texas, Texas A&M, and TCU.

Keke said that he would “probably visit Missouri sometime this summer”. He said that he’d like to visit Florida, as well.

He said that he hasn’t really narrowed things down, but that Missouri is one of his top five schools. A visit to Missouri would likely only cement that status. Keke wasn’t exactly sure when that visit will take place. And, he isn’t sure when he’ll be making a final decision.

“I like Missouri,” said Keke. “I like Coach Kool. And, they have a great defensive line. They’re one of my top schools. I just want to take a visit there and see it for myself.”
