Camper into double digits

Over the past few months, Blake Camper's recruitment has exploded. The 2015 Virginia Beach (Va.) Cox offensive tackle spoke with Scout.com about the latest developments in his recruitment.

Blake Camper's recruitment continues to gain momentum.

The 6-foot-7, 280-pound offensive lineman holds scholarship offers from East Carolina, Louisville, Marshall, Maryland, Miami, NC State, Northwestern, Old Dominion, Rutgers, Virginia, Wake Forest and West Virginia. Wisconsin and Nebraska are also showing significant interest.

Camper is looking forward to visiting some schools in the near future.

"I'm going down to Miami tomorrow and I think I'm going to camp Sunday just to get a chance to work with (offensive line) coach (Art) Kehoe," he said.

"I'd also like to get back to Rutgers and Maryland because my mom didn't get to go on those trips the first time."

In a few months, the Cox standout will make some major decisions.

"I'm thinking that I'm going to narrow it down to five or six schools at beginning of August before two-a-days," Camper said.

"I'll probably make my decision shortly after because I don't think I'd be doing the right thing if I was thinking about recruiting while the season is going along. It wouldn't be fair to my team."

Camper claims no favorites at this time.
