Gators land 4-star dynamic receiver

Derrick Dillon is a huge commitment for what Florida wants to do on offense.

The Florida Gators, in search of some electricity, found what they are looking for in Franklinton, Louisiana Pine High School dynamic receiver Derrick Dillon. The 5-foot-11, 170 pound receiver visited Florida twice in the spring and seemed to like what the Gators offered.

Florida assistant Derek Lewis surprised everyone last year by pulling New Orleans defensive end Gerald Willis and does it again getting one of the most exciting players in all of high school football to commit to the gators.

Reached by text, Dillon said, "I want Gator fans to know I am happy to be a Gator".

We will have more from Dillon as soon as possible, so stay tuned.
