SS Williams Tackles Two Spring Offers

Tallahassee (Fla.) Leon High School class of 2015 strong safety/outside linebacker prospect Brison Williams received two scholarship offers this spring. The 5-foot-11 and 185-pound rising senior is also hearing from Auburn and Iowa State.

Tallahassee (Fla.) Leon High School strong safety/outside linebacker prospect Brison Williams received two scholarship offers during the six week NCAA spring evaluation period. The 5-foot-11 and 185-pound junior is also hearing from a handful of FBS program including one from the SEC and one from the Big 12.

"I have Alabama A&M and Georgia State right now," said Williams of his offers.

The hard-hitting defender is also hearing from 2013 national champion runner-up Auburn as well as Iowa State.

"I have talked to Auburn on the phone a few times, so they are showing a lot of interest. I have Iowa State (showing interest); the whole coaching staff is following me on Twitter. They actually want me on-campus for camp and are recruiting me as a safety. They came to see me a few times during spring," said Williams of his communication with the Tigers and Cyclones.

Additionally, South Florida, Troy, Florida Atlantic, Charleston Southern and Wisconsin have all expressed interest in Williams this spring according to Leon offensive line coach Doug Waddell.

"Right now I have plans to camp at Troy, Florida International and Miami (Fla.)," finished Williams.
