Making the trip to the Plains alongside American Heritage teammate and five-star quarterback Torrance Gibson, the 6-0, 190 Snelson said everything about his return weekend was great.
"It was great," Snelson said. "It was everything I expected. I love Auburn. I was really relaxed. I wasn't focused on recruiting at all. I just wanted to have fun at a school that I like.
"Honestly I just felt a better connection with the coaches," he added. "I got to talk to them a lot more. I just feel more comfortable around them."
Already with double-digit offers including teams such as Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Ole Miss and Ohio State, Snelson said now that he's had the chance to see Auburn again the Tigers are very high on his list. Still with a long way to go between now and signing day of 2016, he said that he's far from making any decision at the moment.
"Auburn is very strong right now," Snelson said. "Very strong. I'm going to wait it out until signing day. Going to wait until the end."
Playing in a run-first offense, he had 12 receptions for 320 yards and four touchdowns last season as a sophomore.
