Kingsley Keke, a 6-foot-4, 280-pound defensive tackle from Fort bend (Texas) Bush High pulled the trigger on his commitment on Wednesday.
The tough defensive linemen selected Texas A&M over Texas, Texas Tech, Baylor, Florida and Oklahoma amongst others.
He confirmed his commitment on Twitter after making the call to Kevin Sumlin.
Keke is rated as a scout four-star prospect, the No. 23 defensive tackle prospect nationally. His commitment, the third of the last week for the Aggies, gives the 2015 class a 3.85 star average annd is rated No. 4 overall nationally.
Keke also plays basketball for George Ranch, and he reported a personal best of 5.1 second in the 40-yard dash, to go along with a 25" vertical jump, and a maximum in the bench press of 270 pounds
Scout Eval - Keke's size and athleticism make him a legitimate high-major defensive line prospect. His versatility also makes him a valuable player. Keke plays an odd-front defensive end position for George Ranch, but is projected as a defensive tackle at the college level. He possesses a good get-off at the snap and is a fluid athlete for a player with such a large frame and obvious mass. He's active in pursuit when flushing quarterbacks from the pocket. Perhaps his best trait is his punch. He disengages from offensive linemen with frequency thanks to a strong punch on first contact.
