Three-star wide receiver Isaiah Zuber has made his college commitment this morning. The Stone Mountain (GA) Stephenson wideout has chosen Kansas State over other offers from Boston College, Cincinnati, Georgia State, Illinois, Iowa State, Purdue, South Florida, Southern Mississippi, Vanderbilt, and Virginia Tech.
When you consider the other scholarship offers he had on the table, it's a great pick-up for the Wildcats and quite a feat to beat some of the other teams involved on a prospect out of the southeast.
Zuber had previously named Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, USF, and Cincinnati favorites just two weeks ago, showing that Kansas State has made up a lot of ground in little time upon offering him a scholarship.
He's a 5-foot-11, 190 pound wideout that seems like he would fit well in the slot position to give him space to operate. It'll be important to give him opportunities in the open field and let him do damage with his elusiveness and speed.
Zuber comes from a powerhouse program in the state of Georgia as Stephenson is known for producing multiple FBS athletes year after year. That's a good sign for the Wildcats as they continue to develop relationships with the program moving forward.
