New offers for Dedrick Young, Nick Carman, Brandon Pertile and Jamison Pruitt

* Peoria (Az.) Centennial RB/LB Dedrick Young has received a new scholarship offer, bringing him to 12 overall.

Young says, "UCLA just offered me. They offered me as a running back. They said they love how I play the game and think I am a great fit for their team."

He also has offers from Michigan StateNevadaColorado State, UtahOregon State, Northwestern, Arizona State, Colorado, Washington, Cal and Arizona.

Young (6-1 205) rushed for 1,696 yards and 17 TDs, made 89 tackles and 5 sacks and was named 1st team all-section on both sides of the ball.

* Phoenix (Az.) Mountain Pointe offensive tackle Nick Carman has received a new offer, bringing him to 12 total.

Carman says, "UC-Davis offered me today."

Carman (6-4 260) helped Mountain Pointe win the D1 state title last year. He was an all-section performer at left tackle for the Pride.

Carman also has been offered by Wyoming, Holy Cross, Utah State, Weber State, UNLVArmy, Montana, South Dakota State, NAU, Air Force and Navy.

* Mesa CC offensive tackle Brandon Pertile was offered by Ohio according to MCC head coach Ryan Felker.

Pertile (6-5 300) also has been offered by Utah, Utah State, UABSouth Florida, Memphis, East Carolina and Buffalo.

* Phoenix O'Connor offensive tackle Jamison Pruitt has received a new division-one scholarship offer, his third overall.

Pruitt says, "UC-Davis just offered me. It is a good feeling to get these recent offers."

Pruitt (6-4 260) also has been offered by Montana, The University of Mary and Air Force.

Pruitt started at left tackle last year for the Eagles, earning all-section recognition.
