Washington (D.C.) Gonzaga 2015 defensive back Sam Morrison has been looking forward to visiting Arizona for several months, and he finally made the trip to campus on Thursday June 5.
The Wildcats staff made sure the long trip from Washington (D.C.) to Arizona was worth it for the 5-foot-11, 170-pounder.
"Arizona offered!" Morrison said in a text to Scout.com "I'm very excited!"
In a previous interview with Scout.com, Morrison, who is the son of former Wildcats defensive back and NFL veteran Darryl Morrison, said that he would consider committing on the spot if he picked up an offer from Arizona during his visit. However, after receiving his offer on Thursday, he said he had not made up his mind yet about a commitment.
Morrison also holds offers from Army, Boston College, Georgia Tech, Rutgers, Temple, Duke, Hawaii, Washington State and Virginia. He has previously said he hopes to make his decision early this summer so he can focus on preparing for his senior season
