Gardner Waits Following Strong Mizzou Camp

One of the top performers at the Missouri Tigers one day camp on Sunday made the trip from Ohio in the hopes of earning an offer from Mizzou. He talks to about his experience, and what coaches had to say to him about an offer.

On Sunday, 2015 LB/S prospect Ferrod Gardner 6’1” 200 Trotwood (OH) Trotwood-Madison was among the many who made the trip to Missouri to participate in the Tigers one-day camp. Afterwards, Gardner spoke with, and he shared some of his thoughts about Mizzou and the camp.

“I like the environment of Missouri,” said Gardner, who is hoping to receive a Missouri offer. “The team likes to win. They have a great record. And, it’s a good coaching staff.”

Gardner just picked up an offer from Bowling Green, and he said that “Cincinnati’s about to offer me”.

Gardner said that he thought he performed well at Missouri on Sunday, where he posted a 4.55-second 40-time, to go along with a 38” vertical.

He’s been talking to Missouri assistant coach Cornell Ford, and he said that the Missouri staff indicated to him that they would discuss a possible offer for him later this week.
