Leonardtown (Md.) St. Mary's Ryken 2015 offensive guard Barnabas Baning holds six offers, but he is working to add to that number as he hits the camp circuit this summer.
"I am planning on doing a camp tour this summer with Big Skills Academy so we will be going to a lot of schools," Baning said. "The tour I think is going to Tennessee, South Carolina, N.C. State."
In addition to the Big Skills Academy Tour, the 6-foot-3, 348-pounder is also planning several visits of his own.
"I'll be taking an unofficial to Toledo and then I'll camp at Ohio State on June 20 and 21," Baning said. "I definitely have a good relationship with Coach [D.K.] McDonald from Toledo. We have been talking on a regular basis now and I've been staying in contact with him a lot."
Since picking up an offer from Syracuse this spring, Baning has remained high on the Orange and he hopes to visit campus at some point this summer.
"I don't really have a No. 1 right now, but I would say Syracuse is definitely a school I want to see more of and get a feel for," Baning said. "After I go on the Big Skills tour I will have to see what other offers I might get and kind of go from there."
As far as a decision goes, Baning said at this point he plans on waiting until signing day to commit.
Big Month Ahead for Baning
