New offer for Shutack

It's a big week for Nazareth (Ill.) Academy offensive lineman Jack Shutack, who added a new offer and has two camps coming up.

There is lots to look forward to for 6-foot-6, 275 pound offensive lineman prospect Jack Shutack.

Tuesday, he added an offer from Iowa State and was on the way to camp at Michigan State and then at Tennessee.

"My coach called me about two hours after practice was over," Shutack said of learning he had the Iowa State offer. "I really don't know a lot about them, this was really unexpected."

Shutack does have plans to learn more about the Cyclones, but in the meantime he's got camps coming up Wednesday at Michigan State and Friday at Tennessee.

"I'm looking forward to getting a chance to prove that Michigan State should have offered me a while ago," Shutack said. "And to seeing more of the facilities."

He added, "And at Tennessee I am excited to show the coaches what I can do."

Shutack has been putting hard work in this offseason, and there is one aspect of his game that he feels has really made improvement.

"My run blocking is what I have worked at the most," Shutack said.
