5-foot-9, 160-poun athlete Tyler Hamilton may be just a freshman, he has already picked up his first three offers.
"Right now I have offers from Clemson, Ohio and Toledo," said Hamilton. "I don't have a favorite. I haven't visited any of them yet. I plan on visiting Ohio soon. Hopefully that will be fun to go there."
As for the rest of his recruitment, the freshman has been hearing from schools across the country.
"Ohio State, West Virginia, Missouri and Arizona have been talking to me," he said.
Speaking of the Buckeyes, the athlete attended their first camp of the summer and said he had a good time.
"I think I did really well as far as one-on-ones, routes and individual stuff. The coaches liked it. I talked with the receivers coaches. He asked what class if was in and I said 2017. He said I have a bright future ahead of me. I'm just trying to do my best. This was my second time there and I think Ohio State is nice. I like their facilities," said Hamilton.
For the rest of the summer, Hamilton has several other camps he plans on attending.
"I'm going to Ohio, Cincinnati, Toledo, North Carolina, North Carolina State and Tennessee," he said.
With Hamilton picking up interest in schools from every region, he says that when it comes to making his decision, ideally he doesn't want to be too far from home.
"Distance probably will matter. I'll want to stay close to my family," said Hamilton.
Even though the freshman says he'd like to stay closer to home, he's not ruling out Ohio State.
"I'd consider them. Ohio State has a nice program and I like Urban Meyer a lot," he said.
