"I'm visiting Miami this coming Monday (June 23rd) and I've set up my visit to Washington for July 28th," George told JCFootball.com.
George currently holds 11 offers -- Iowa State, Cincinnati, Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana-Lafayette, Memphis, Miami, South Alabama, South Florida and Washington -- and he's been getting interest from several more BCS programs including UCLA, Arizona State and Texas A&M among others.
As a freshman in 2013, George started the last half of the season, spending the first part of the year as a situational pass rusher. He finished with a team-leading 10 sacks to go along with 51 tackles, 15.5 tackles-for-loss, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, an interception and five passes defensed.
"I played sorta a hybrid defensive end/outside linebacker spot," George told JCFootball.com earlier this spring. "I was getting a feel for the defense and stuff, so I didn't start right away, but I was in the rotation and eventually I worked my way into the starting lineup.
"I am definitely at my best rushing the quarterback. It's something I have always done pretty well. I have a great first step, it's pretty quick, and that helps me get the edge, but this fall I want to have more moves so I am not just a speed guy and I have definitely been working on that and my speed too."
George was a standout prep in Louisiana, but he was unable to qualify for a scholarship to a four-year program, so he decided to head up to Hutch where he could focus on his academics as well as his football career.
"I liked the staff here and the history of the program here was great," George said. "They do a great job of getting guys ready, both academically and football wise, and there are always a bunch of schools that come through during the spring and fall to scout guys from the program."
George is on pace to graduate in December and he will have three years to play two following the 2014 football season.
