Clay Lands Ohio State Offer

Chad Clay from the Peach State lands an Ohio State offer over the weekend.

Chad Clay is a 2016 cornerback prospect from Suwanee (Ga.) Peachtree Ridge that was very excited on Sunday morning. The evening before Clay said he picked up a scholarship offer from Ohio State.

"I love that offer," Clay said. "That's huge. I have always liked Ohio State. They are one of my favorites. I also have offers from Clemson, Texas A&M, Nebraska, Georgia Tech and Auburn.

There is another school Clay hopes to get an offer from. That's LSU. He will camp with the Tigers next month in July.

"Man, I am hoping," Clay said. "I am going there to show them what I can do and I hope I can earn a scholarship offer from LSU. They are another favorite of mine. So is Ohio State, Nebraska, and Texas A&M.

Clay, 6-foot-1, 175-pounds, is the son of former NFLer Willie Clay. He was on hand at the IMG National 7v7 tournament and played with the Core 6 team.
