Dawkins Impresses At OSU Camp

Columbus Franklin Heights rising junior wide receiver Seth Dawkins impressed recently at Ohio State's camp. Showing great size and skill, Dawkins is on the radar for college coaches.

Ohio State's summer camp provided the opportunity watch several top underclassmen perform in front of the Buckeye coaching staff. Seth Dawkins is a 2016 wide receiver prospect that opened some eyes with his play.

Dawkins, 6-foot-2, 190-pounds, plays for Columbus Franklin Heights, and he is coming off a strong sophomore season. He already holds one offer.

"Toledo has offered me," Dawkins stated. "It was exciting to land that offer, and I really didn't know what to say. They came to my school and told my coach they were offering. They were the only school to offer so far."

"I would like to hear from Louisville because my dad (Bernie Dawkins) played there," he added. "Being at Ohio State was great, because there was a lot of hands on stuff, and they did a lot of teaching. There were a lot of great drills, and I learned a lot."

His performance at Ohio State showed a player with the potential to be a BCS recruit at the outside wide receiver spot.

"I have the speed and size, but I also have great jumping ability to go up and over people," he stressed. "I'm going to be going to camps at Cincinnati and Marshall in July."
