Chris Cunningham Ready for Road Trip

Chris Cunningham is a three-star tight end prospect that is being recruited by numerous schools. The 6-foot-3, 230-pound offensive standout checks in from Jacksonville (Fla) Atlantic Coast high school.

It's hard to imagine a player with over 30 scholarship offers flying under the radar but that's the case with Chris Cunningham.

"The recruiting process is great overall," Cunningham said. "A lot of coaches are talking to me and it's great being able to be in this recruiting process. The schools that are showing me the most love, I would have to say are Purdue, Louisville, UCF, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, South Carolina and the Florida Gators. It's an overall blessing that these teams are recruiting me. Not every player that plays the game of football gets to experience this process. So I'm humbled by it, and I just want to keep getting better day by day."

Cunningham is a very athletic looking player. He was very impressive during a camp session in front of the Gator coaching staff. Florida was impressed with his overall ability and route running technique. He is a player Gator fans should keep a close eye on moving forward.

"I think my strengths as a player is my route running," Cunningham said. "I have worked hard during the off-season. Reading defenses is also a strength and being able to be versatile to the offense by creating mismatches with the defense."

In two weeks Chris Cunningham will be on the road for about 14 days. He will start at Florida and make his way up north.
