Linebacker David Long With Trips

One of the top uncommitted players in Ohio checks in from Winton Woods High School. The 6-foot, 215-pound David Long is close to narrowing things down to a select few schools.

The no 59 ranked outside linebacker in America according to Scout.com is David Long. Long is a compact and very strong linebacker. He is close to narrowing things down to a select final five to six teams. Long is not close to making a decision and will look to make all five official visits before he makes a decision.

"The process is going good," Long said. "Just enjoying it. I am almost ready to make my decision, but my top schools will come out later in July. I will be making a trip to Oklahoma on the 21st and West Virginia on the 26th and will narrow things down after that."

Long is a sure tackler, and he gets to the ball extremely fast. He is a well-rounded football player that has a nose for the ball. In the off-season, he is working on his overall speed.

Oklahoma, West Virginia, Kentucky, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Michigan State, Indiana and Cincinnati all have a chance to make the final five teams.
