As the summer begins to wind down, and as prospects begin to narrow things down in their decision-making process, several Missouri’s targets are planning to take unofficial visits to Missouri before football practice begins.
Recently, ShowMeMizzou.com spoke with 2015 Missouri offer and slot receiver prospect Ryan Davis 6’0” 170 St. Petersburg (FL) Lakewood, who indicated that he’d like to visit Missouri this summer, but acknowledged that he might have to wait until he can take an official visit to Missouri during the season.
Davis said that Missouri is recruiting him pretty hard, as he speaks with Coach Brian Jones regularly. He indicated that he’s still trying to make arrangements to take an unofficial visit to Missouri, but so far, he’s not sure when, or if, that will occur.
Davis has an impressive offer list, including offers from Arizona, Florida, Florida Atlantic, Florida International, Florida State, Iowa State, Kentucky, Marshall, Maryland, Miami, Michigan State, Mississippi State, North Carolina State, Nebraska, Ohio State, South Florida, Syracuse, Tennessee, Texas Tech, Toledo, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest, Washington State, West Virginia, and Wisconsin, among others, in addition to Missouri.
“I’m still considering Missouri,” explained Davis, who wouldn’t name any favorites. “As long as my relationship with Coach Jones keeps going the way it’s going, it’s a definite possibility that I’ll take an official visit to Missouri.”
Davis said that he’d like to take his official visits during the season and make a decision later this year.
