The decision date is set for three-star tight end Caleb Reams of Warren Township (Ill.). Reams has publicly released his top five schools and now has a date for a decision.
"I am going to announce August 29th, the day of my season opener against Lyons Township," Reams said. "And I expect that game to be a great one."
He added, "I was just going to announce on twitter. Probably just a picture that will go with the school I choose and I will wear that schools gloves during the game."
The recruiting process has been an exciting one for Reams, who originally committed to Western Michigan and then decided to take a step back from the process and evaluate his options again.
"I am excited just to know where I'll be going and it will lower my stress level because people really don't know this process is very fun and stressful. I am excited that I can really focus on the season with my teammates."
On top of the obvious, the recruiting process has been a productive and memorable one for Reams.
"Probably the best part has been all the visits and just getting to know all the coaches around the NCAA," Reams said. "And meeting some of the players that you hear about on TV and everything. It's just a great experience. And I still look forward to the official visit of the school that I choose."
