Draper Commits To Cincinnati

Cincinnati has accepted the commitment of Lyndhurst (OH) Brush linebacker Matt Draper. The three-star athlete chose the Bearcats over Duke, Kentucky and Louisville.

Matt Draper is one of the top 2015 prospects in Ohio, and the Lyndhurst Brush three-star linebacker has committed to Cincinnati.

Draper, 6-foot-1, 215-pounds, held over ten offers, and he selected the Bearcats over such programs as Duke, Kentucky and Louisville.

"I committed to Cincinnati," Draper stated. "It's the best school for me because I've always wanted to stay close to my mom. Cincinnati is very close for her to be able to come see me play."

I've been there one time for a visit, but plan on going there next week," he added. "I'm being recruited by Coach (Robert) Prunty, and they're telling me I can play next year if I come in and work hard."

"They see me as a playmaker on the outside, and I'm very excited to be a part of their program," he continued. "They told me not to worry about adding more weight, but to keep my speed. My mom is very happy with my choice too, so this is a good day for us."

After playing the past two seasons for Cleveland Glenville, Draper has transferred to Brush.
