"Its been going great" he said. "Its a blessing to receive as many offers as I did my sophomore year."

"Its kind of hitting me that I've been very blessed."

With offers on the table from programs such as TCU, Ole Miss, Missouri, Texas, Texas A&M, Arizona State, Texas Tech and others, Whaley will be a nice addition to any program that he decides to choose.

"I'm going to Texas A&M on the 2nd of August to watch them practice"

While its early in the recruiting process for Whaley knows full well what he's looking for in a program."

"The most important thing to me is education" he said. "I want to see how the school is academic wise and see what their graduation rate is, things like that."

"I also want to see the different majors each school has" said the Beaumont, TX product. "I have two options for now, kinesiology or business management."
