Ramsey Has Panthers On The Prowl Again

Head coach Doug Ramsey has guided Cincinnati Elder to two state championships (2002-2003) and a state runner-up performance in 2008. After two successful seasons of reaching the second round of the playoffs, expectations are high for the Panthers to make a run towards a state championship with two of Ohio’s top juniors on the offensive side of the ball. Scout.com spoke with Ramsey about his team.

Last season Cincinnati Elder had another solid season finishing with a 9-3 record with two losses to state champion and league rival Moeller and one to Lakewood St. Edward.

With one of the top quarterbacks in the Ohio 2016 class returning in son Peyton Ramsey and standout junior offensive tackle Tommy Kraemer leading the way on offense, head coach Doug Ramsey knows there are some holes to fill before the teams season opener against Oak Hills and talk of making a return trip to state.

Scout.com spoke with Ramsey in this exclusive one-on-one video interview about his team and his two standout juniors.
