Green Back at Iowa

Iowa impressed Seth Green on his first visit to campus so the four-star quarterback from Minnesota stopped back at the school this weekend. He talked with HI about the recent visit and how the Hawkeyes sit with him.

Seth Green already has collected an impressive group scholarship offers. The list for the four-star 2016 quarterback was expected to grow.

Iowa has positioned itself well with the Minneapolis-area, dual-threat signal caller. The Hawkeyes offered him a ride after his freshman season at Woodbury (MN) East Ridge High.

While the 6-foot-3, 200-pound Green has yet to eliminate any programs from their pursuit of him, he is impressed with Iowa.

"(The Hawkeyes) are going to get serious consideration," Green said of where Iowa stands with him.

Green stopped at the Big Ten school for the second time this weekend when he attended a recruit barbecue.

"I loved it. It was a great experience," he said. "I felt like it was a family there. I got along with the people and for sure could see myself there."

In addition to Iowa, Green reports scholarship offers from Illinois, Louisville, Minnesota, Pittsburgh, Toledo and Wisconsin. He visited Alabama this summer. ranks Green as the No. 9 quarterback nationally in the '16 Class. He damages defenses with his arm and his legs and also is an accomplished basketball player.

Junior defensive back Jordan Lomax played host to Green on this weekend's visit.

"I really enjoyed the people there and getting to spend time with the players. I also was impressed with the new facilities," Green said.

Green said he will back in Iowa City for a yet-to-be-determined game day this fall.
