Foster Shares The Latest

Junior college safety Devonta Foster is holding at three offers, but hearing from a few others. He's already taken one official visit, and has plans to take another.

Coffeyville C.C. safety Devonta Foster is still sitting on three offers but his recruitment is continuing to progress along. Despite the lack of additional offers, he's spent a lot of time researching his decision to make sure he picks the right fit.

Foster is still hearing from a few other programs as well that continue to keep the line of communication open.

"Ole Miss is still showing interest in me," Foster said. "They want me to come on an official visit to show me around. I want to wait to get more interest or an offer form them before I do that. Florida Atlantic has also spoken to me. I've received new interest from BYU and Utah State as well."

The new contact from BYU and Utah State has really caught the eye of Foster.

"Utah State has reached out to me," he told Scout. "They've been wanting to get to know me. They've going to keep an eye on me in the Fall and might offer if they like what they see. I like them. They have a real good defense. I'm intrigued about BYU, too. They play a real good schedule and play tough competition. That would be exciting to play. I love the competition."

Foster has been recruited the hardest by South Alabama, a school that has already offered.

"I talk to South Alabama a lot," he pointed out. "They talk to me each and every week. They've been after me more than everyone else. I took an official visit there and I liked it. It was pretty nice. The facilities were great. They're a growing program and made me a believer."

Arkansas State is another program that has already offered Foster, and he plans to take an official visit sometime this Fall.

"They offered me during the Spring semester," he shared. "They've spoken to me a few times since I have been at home for the Summer, but not as much. I like them, though, and I plan on taking an official visit there."
