Lee signs financial paperwork

The commitment by Eric Lee to Nebraska has never been in question. The standout cornerback has wrapped up the necessary work to enroll early in Lincoln and has already signed his financial paperwork as well.

Highlands Ranch (Colo.) Valor Christian cornerback Eric Lee has had a busy summer. The four-star recruit had to complete a couple of classes to prepare to enroll in college in January.

"My summer classes were good," Lee said. "I had to take math and English. I am all done now though. Everything is good to go. All NCAA Clearinghouse items are good."

Lee finished up the coursework needed to go to enroll early at Nebraska. He also signed his financial paperwork for Nebraska while will allow him to enjoy some privileges in the months leading up to when he moves to Lincoln.

"I signed my financial agreement paperwork with Nebraska on Friday. So did Avery Anderson. We can now have more contact with the coaches. They can also send us the playbook."

The season is just four weeks away and Lee has given the game schedule a look when it comes to potential visits. He says that he should be there for the first two games and then will come back on his bye week for an official visit.

"I am going to take my official visit to Nebraska for the Miami game. It's my bye week so it works out right. I might also get to the first two games.

"I know that Carlos Davis, Khalil Davis, Avery, Kendall Bussey, DaiShon Neal, Michael Decker and Christian Gaylord should be there too. I am not sure if it will be all of their official visits or not."

Valor Christian will actually start their football practices tomorrow. Lee says that there is a lot of talk about Valor possibly being "down" this year. He says that the team has heard the talk and is using it as fuel.

"We start our fall camp on Monday," Lee said. "We are going to make another run at state. A lot of people are doubting us and we are using that as motivation for this season."
