Wariboko Shares The Latest

Oklahoma City (OK) Casady four-star offensive lineman Josh Wariboko discusses the latest in his recruitment and what schools are beginning to separate themselves.

One of the top interior offensive lineman in the 2015 class is Oklahoma City (OK) Casady's Josh Wariboko. He was at one time an Oklahoma pledge, but de-committed several months ago.

With his recruitment wide open, Wariboko went on the record discussing the status of his recruitment, and shared what schools are at the forefront.

"Right now, I'm narrowing my list of schools down," he said. "I'm keeping in communication with a handful of schools, still. I stay in the most contact with Oklahoma State, UCLA, USC, Louisville, California, Texas A&M, Ohio State, and Oklahoma."

"Out of that group I would say that UCLA and Ohio State have been jumping out the most," Wariboko added. "They've stuck out the most, recently. It's been a bit more than the others."

With the Bruins and Buckeyes seemingly in the best shape with the four-star senior, he gave his thoughts on both programs.

"I really like the coaching staff at UCLA," Wariboko pointed out. "They're one of the hottest up and coming teams in college football right now. They've told me that I can contribute early there. They like the way I play."

"Ohio State has really shot up my list," he continued. "I definitely like them. I was planning to go to their Friday Night Lights camp, but was unable to. They have a lot of great tradition up there. They have a really strong recruiting class this year, and had special ones the last couple years. Their coaching staff has been great to me."

Official visits are beginning to be planned for Wariboko and he has an idea of a few programs he expects to see.

"I have an official visit scheduled to UCLA for November 22," he stated. "I know I'm taking one to USC, for sure. That's the only other one I know about. I'm hoping to take one to Ohio State as well, but I've been unable to make plans for it with my family so far."
