Weber Commits to Michigan

Michigan adds a key cog with four-star running back Mike Weber from Detroit Cass Tech.

After visiting Michigan today for a practice, Detroit Cass Tech's Mike Weber made a commitment to the Wolverines.

A 5-9, 210-pound running back, Weber is a four-star prospect and Scout's number two player in Michigan (behind Wolverine commit Brian Cole). He chose the Wolverines over offers from Ohio State, Michigan State, Miami (Fla.), USC, Wisconsin and others.

Weber rushed for 1,659 yards (13 yards per carry) and 24 touchdowns as a junior.

He becomes commit number ten for Michigan in the 2015 class and third from in-state, joining Cole and quarterback Alex Malzone.
