Shutack Delays Commitment Plans

La Grange Park (IL) Nazareth Academy offensive lineman Jack Shutack has been an NC State lean but says he's in no rush to make a decision.

Two months ago La Grange Park (IL) Nazareth Academy offensive lineman Jack Shutack told Pack Pride that NC State was his favorite. However, it doesn’t look like he will make a decision this summer.
NCSU is still one of the schools that Shutack is thinking about but as to the question of whether they lead the answer seems to be more difficult to determine.
Shutack says NC State, Tennessee, Missouri and Michigan State are the schools he talks to the most.
“I do plan to make some official visits. I’m not looking to make a decision until after my senior year,” said Shutack recently.
It might be easy to assume that Shutack will take official visits to those four schools he talks to the most but he actually said he is not sure where he will take those visits to. The Wolfpack could be in line for an official after he enjoyed a trip to the school this summer.
There was a quasi-camp going on while Shutack visited but it was more about socialization and getting to know the coaches than working out.
“It was a while ago. I don’t remember the exact date. We saw the facilities and stuff and then we went out on the football field. We did this mini, brief position work and we did play a game of dodge ball with the coaches. I worked a little with the position coaches. Coach Uremovich and Coach Doeren are the coaches I know the best up there. I like all the coaches. They’re really nice.”
Shutack said he has similar relationships with coaches at the other schools that are recruiting him.
With plans to take official visits but no visits set Shutack isn’t ready to peg a decision date on the calendar.
