Pensacola (Fla.) Escambia High School Terik Miller (6’0,197) joined the list of fifteen public commitments to the Ragin’ Cajuns 2015 Class today. Miller transferred to Escambia after attending and playing at cross-town rival Washington High School.
As a junior at Washington High School this past season, Miller racked up 60 tackles, six interceptions and returned a fumble for a touchdown.
Besides the Cajuns, South Florida, Tennessee, Old Dominion, South Alabama, Florida Atlantic and Georgia Tech are all recruiting Terik Miller. But after visiting practice and campus today with his parents, the Florida senior decided he didn’t want to wait to commit to the Ragin’ Cajuns!
“Yes sir, they have been really recruiting me for a long time and I felt like they really wanted me,” Miller said. “A lot of schools are waiting on how I do this season, but they wanted me now. After visiting today, my parents love the school and so do I!”
Miller also mentioned the opportunity to get a quality education and earn a degree.
“The education presentation was outstanding,” Terik stated. “They have everything I need to continue my life after football!”
Terik Miller will stay in town tonight and plans on attending Cajuns second scrimmage of the preseason tomorrow at Cajun Field before heading home.
