'16 Midlands Rankings: Moving Up

Here is a look at five Class of 2016 Midlands prospects who made a rise in to the Scout100 or Scout300 in the latest rankings release...

New to the Scout100

WR Dee Anderson (6'3, 170) - Mesquite (TX) West
After a sophomore season that he spent waiting his turn in the offense the LSU commitment burst on to the scene in the spring earning a number of great offers. he extended a successful off season in to a very strong seven-on-seven season, earning mention as being one of the top receivers at the Texas State Championships regardless of class. He is a tremendous outside receiving prospect, who plays with a physical and aggressive style. Rated as the No. 79 prospect in the Scout100 (No. 16 WR).

New 4-Stars - Scout300

DE Amani Bledsoe (6'4, 266) - Lawrence (Kan.) High
Bledose has emerged as the early top player in the state and has started to earn some nice offers from schools like Kansas, Oklahoma State and North Carolina State. He is very strong at the point of attack and quick and coordinated for a kid with his early size. Rated as the No. 105 player in the Scout 300 (No. 11 DE).

WR Tren'Davion Dickson (6'0, 170) - Navasota (TX) High
The Baylor commit is an interesting wide receiver prospect because he brings a little bit of everything to the position. He has a good frame, is quick and runs good routes. He is a receiver who can be the go to guy or the one play wonder. He works well in short and intermediate games racing up some yards after the catch. Rated as the No. 117 player in the Scout300 (No. 23 WR).

QB Shane Buechele (6'1, 185) - Arlington (TX) Lamar
Buechele is one of those players who just has that something in his game that he is able to get the job done. He is very consistent and brings a level of dependability to the position. Like the way that he looks on tape and he should have a huge season in front of him in 2014. Can pick defenses apart. Already has offers from schools such as TCU, Oklahoma, Texas and Texas Tech. Rated as the No. 218 player in the Scout300 (No. 18 QB).

CB Obi Eboh (6'1, 172) - Southlake (TX) Carroll
Eboh is a name that you will start to hear more and more about. He has an excellent frame and is another player who emerges in the off-season and will be expected to have a big year locking down one half of the field. Has all the tools you are looking for and has already been laser-timed with a 4.5 40-yard dash. Has two early offers from Duke and Rice so the grades are there as well. Rated as the No. 238 player in the Scout300 (No. 24 CB).
