Love getting closer

Bryce Love is entering the homestretch of his recruitment. The 2015 four-star Wake Forest (N.C.) running back gave Scout.com the latest.

”I feel like I’m getting pretty close to the end of the recruiting process,” said Bryce Love. “I’m either going to commit sometime soon or after I take my officials.”

Which schools are still under consideration?

”I’d say Tennessee, Florida, ECU, UNC, NC State, Stanford, Virginia Tech and Wisconsin,” said the 5-foot-10, 180-pound Love.

”I'll probably narrow it down sometime soon. I know Stanford, Tennessee, Florida, North Carolina and NC State will make the cut.”

While he would like to make a decision sooner than later, he is not going to rush his decision.

”I still want to take all five official visits,” Love said. “Stanford, Florida and Virginia Tech will definitely get visits. Tennessee may get one as well.

"I’m not sure if I’ll take official visits to the local schools because I’ve been so much. But I’m still pretty open with the other two visits. I don’t have any official visits set yet, though”

Love admitted it making his college decision was going to be difficult.

”It’s definitely going to be hard to pick one school,” he said. “But I’ve just got to stay focused and pick the right school for me.”

Love claims no favorites at this time.

”All the schools I named, I feel like they’re pretty much even right now,” he said. “I definitely want to make my decision during football season, hopefully before December. The main factors are going to be the school itself and the coaches."

Wake Forest opens their season this Friday at Panther Creek at 7 p.m.
