Dodge City C.C. wideout William French is one of the top FBS prospects on Coach Thomas' roster. He's excited for the upcoming season to prove his worth.
"I'm ready to perform with the best," he told Scout. "It's exciting football is back and I can't wait to start it up. I have prepared a lot for this year and I'm looking forward to showing how much I have improved."
French has offers from South Alabama and Central Arkansas so far.
"South Alabama has shown a lot of interest in me," he noted. "They are both showing quite a bit of interest, though."
He will take his visits after the season, but French discussed what stands out about the Jaguars.
"The coaches at South Alabama have made me feel like it was home there," he pointed out. "I'm comfortable with the offense they run. THeir star receiver that plays in the slot will be leaving after this year so I have a chance to go in and play right away."
"As a junior college prospect I want to go somewhere that has a clear path to the field," French added. "I'm not afraid of competition at all but my eligibility is limited. It's important to me to find a spot where I can come in and begin contributing immediately."
French will graduate in May and enroll at a college in the summer.
